We offer certified organic berry farm field of one ha in size for lease to qualified farmers on a shared revenue basis. We contribute land and land improvements and we expect a farmer to contribute labor. Revenue sharing ratio is negotiable from time-to-time.
A qualified farmer can add this revenue to his existing horticultural products revenue realized through his existing distribution, 1 or 2 step.
Qualified farmer is a farm-family and is expected to travel to the farm as a place to work.
Labor time is 2/3 for harvesting and 1/3 for berry rows and grounds maintenance. Maintenance time is occasional in spring and fall, but harvesting labor is daily from early July to mid-September.
1/2 ha is in full production and another 1/2 ha needs renovation, again on a shared basis.
The berry field can provide on a shared revenue basis an above average farmer’s income for a qualified farmer contributing most of labor personally. Total annual labor time is similar to work time of one person in government employ.
